Daria Kinzer - "Break a leg"
Composed by: Boris Đurđević/Andrea Čubrić

Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011

After a lengthy Idol-like process, Croatians were left with the choice of big Jacques and not as big Daria. They sang three songs each in the final, which was be held in Zagreb on March 5th. Voters preferred out of tune singing and lack of charisma over, well, size. And who can blame them, really?

Useful Information About Croatia

The boomerang-shaped Republic of Croatia is home to 4.5 million people. All photographs of Croatia feature the sunny old town of Dubrovnik from every possible angle; however, most of Croatia's land and population are part of the dull and freezing Hungarian Plain. Zagreb once recorded -27.3°C. They didn't want us to tell you that, but we just did. Ha.

Croatia is responsible for Yugoslavia's only winning entry and won the first Junior edition, and also hosted the contest in 1990, giving us plenty of classic confused moments.
