Useful Information About Cyprus

The town of Cyprus is fun. It is the birth place of Afro-dite and Anna Vishy. Other famous cypriots include Miley Cyprus, Nicosia Sarkozy and Halloumira Sarantis. The island, which is sometimes refered to as the ass of the European European - being split in two halves, debuted in the contest in 1981 with the group Island singing “Muni, muni, muni, muni ,muni, Monika”, resulting in the EBU rule against vulgar language in Eurovision lyrics. Cyprus best position ever is three 5th places, and the two worst results ever for the island were in 1999 and 2000 with only 2 and 8 points in total. This lead to a declaration of war against Greece, resulting in eventually forcing them to return to the contest in 2001 to ensure that this would never happen again.
