Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011

Useful Information About Finland

Much like Queen Elizabeth, Finland is permanently cold, moist, dull, and filthy rich.

In the parliamentary elections held in 2007, the Swedish People's party got more votes than the True Finns party, which means Finland has more Swedes than honest Finns. The horror!

In terms of Eurovision, Finland has scored some of the lowest scores in contest history, yet made a spectacular landslide win in 2006 with Lordi. Since then Finland has found its Eurovision groove and delighted fans with a dazzling array of musical genres, the most recent being two barefoot blonds with an accordion and a bouncy unpronounceable tune that despite failing to qualify, was by far the most sing-along-y song of 2010.
