Aurela Gaçe - "Kënga ime"
Composed by:
Shpëtim Saraçi / Sokol Marsi
Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011
Albanians love comebacks, and so it was no surprise that Aurela Gaçe, winner of 1999 and 2001, triumphed Fik 2010 after an absence of 9 years.
Her song, which title means "My Song", is not unlike the Albanian 2005 entry by Ledina Çelo, yet another comeback winner.

Useful Information About Albania
Ever since 2003, hundreds or possibly thousands of devoted ESC fans excuse themselves from the table in the midst of the Christmas dinner, leaving confused families behind, hide with their computer and watch a webcast for three or so hours. The drawing power of Festivali i Këngës në RTSH includes:
- An average of 80.4 times per song the word "dashuri" (or derived) is used
- Applause that lasts up to 7 minutes
- Insane Techno beats onto otherwise slow ethnic songs
- A paranoid dictator that murders festival producers for being "morally corrupt"
- The accented letter Ë as a standalone vowel
- Scoreboards made in 20 minutes based on a simple spreadsheet document
- 4:30 minute-long winners that bare very little resemblance to their ESC versions
- Mariza Ikonomi
